It's Our Home
...and Yours
Casa Luna is, first and foremost, our family home. It isn’t a “factory rental” stocked with the bare minimum of forks and towels. We live here part of the year, and our extended family visits from California—so the house is cared for, comfortable, and meant to be enjoyed. We hope you’ll treat it with the same warmth and respect, as if it were your own.
Coyo, our housekeeper, and Marlene, our property manager, are part of our extended family as well. We’ve all watched one another’s families grow up in and around Casa Luna, and they help ensure your stay is smooth and welcoming.
All furnishings are sourced locally, chosen with comfort and relaxation in mind. We’ve made the golf cart available for easy trips to the beach or around Palmilla, and the pool is kept warm year-round. The drinks stay cold, the BBQ is ready when you are, and the space is set up for simple, laid-back living.
Welcome to Casa Luna. We hope you feel right at home.

> did I mention the views
> Casa Luna is within the Caleta HOA -- about 60+ homes. It's a pretty quiet and very secure neighborhood with good access to the beach from a number of access points.
> The golf cart is available for your use. It cannot be driven on the main highway nor on the sand, You can drive it down the golf cart path towards the beach.
> Casa Luna is a 3 story, 4500 sf house; the top floor is all one bedroom suite with his/hers bathroom, and lovely sitting area.
> The downstairs is almost a separate apartment with a living room complete with lounge chairs, refrigerator and flat screen TV leading to two bedrooms.
> The main floor bedroom was recently remodeled with a new bathroom and a "walk in closet" was converted to a bunkroom which often comes in handy with younger kids.
> The internet is fiber optic with a Unifi wifi system resulting in both fast and reliable internet.
> All of the TVs have free access to Netflix and YouTube. That's about it. If you need to see the Super Bowl (or equivalent) there are sports bars in town.
> There is a new 'no-slip' hard surface outside around the pool and hot tub - but vulnerable to ride wine and other stains.
> The pool is generally set to around 85F and the hot tub to 101-104...Marlne can ajust if it is too hot or cold.
> There is no safety fence around the pool or hot tub. There are also dangerous "climging walls" around. You either have to be very diligent or perhaps it's not a great location for little ones.
> We wlcome gatherings and parites. However, we will hear about it if you're too loud and espeically after 10p. The guards will warn -- then we will be fined (which we pass down to you).
> It's common to request chefs, bartenders, massages, etc. Marlene is your 'go-to' person for all that.
> We tip Coyo; we'd like you too, but you don't have to. I tip her M$500 pesos per day for just myself -- please adjust according to your use -- thanks very much. She's the single mother of 5 and travels over an hour each way to Casa Luna.
